This is a Special DJ mix for the celebration of 10 years of SQUADRON the hottest party/club from the small micro state island of Malta!

Malta are a bunch of little mini micro islands (well 3 of them of which only 2 are populated) in the south mediteranian sea close to Libya and a few hours underneath Sicily. Its basically a giant dusty rock with a lot of windy roads and houses, national parks are about the size of my back garden (for real!), main export products are potatoes and playmobil and there are a bunch of mysterious things like ancient neolythic ruins (some scholars say Malta was ATLANTIS!) and it has to do something with the knights templar.

But the most coolest and striking fact of this little proud and fierce Island state is that it has the most concentrated percentage of devoted west coast Bunker/Creme fans in the world! We are not big in Japan but big in Malta…even the local butcher would use my track Chockolektrik in its TV commercials we are talking that big yeah…..and we have absolutely no idea why…do the Maltese have exquisite taste in music??? Is Squadron doing a good job with promoting??? Do we just make frequencies Maltese like??? is it a cosmical random event that just happens??!? who knows!??!?!

For 10 years every other year I visited this island to play at Squadron's spectacular parties with the likes of DJ TLR, Orgue Electronique, Luke Eargoggle, DJ Kafka, Bangkok Impact, Juan Atkins, Rolando etc.etc.etc. so I say Happy birthday & Congratulations Karl, Rudi, Kevin and all the others to another 10 years!
