Hello tracklistings members!
If you like IRC as I do, welcome to tracklistings irc channel: #tracklistings at EFnet network.

Servers to use:
irc.paraphysics.net:6667
irc.efnet.fr:6667
irc.eversible.com:6667
or simply irc.efnet.org:6667

You can use such clients as mIRC (Shareware without restrictions, get it here) or XChat (get it here (Freeware version) or here (Shareware version)).
For those who don't want to use software for it, use Mibbit, web based IRC client. Just select EFnet from Connect context menu, enter your nickname, our channel #tracklistings, and you're ready to chat - just click Connect button!

A few words about what IRC is.
Internet Relay Chat (IRC) is a protocol for real-time Internet text messaging (chat) or synchronous conferencing. It is mainly designed for group communication in discussion forums, called channels, but also allows one-to-one communication via private message as well as chat and data transfer, including file sharing. Using IRC clients isn't that hard. There is an instructions to mIRC and XChat.

mIRC: After you downloaded and installed mIRC, run it. Window "About mIRC" will pop up. Just click continue. You may noticed that it tells that you have 30 days left. After 30 days expire, you just need to wait a little longer to click continue button, that's all the restricions! (If you want to support developer, you can buy registration code so with it you will rid of this waiting). Well, next you will see where you should enter your info. Enter your nickname and alternative nickname, e-mail and name are optional. Next, enter: /server irc.efnet.org, favorites window will pop up, enter #tracklistings to join and you're on! If you dont want to see this window, just untickle Pop up favorites on connect, so you can join using /join #tracklistings command.

XChat: XChat client is Shareware for Windows platform, after 30 days expire it won't work until you pay for it. But since it's open source program, there is another version of it that has no restrictions. Download one of these versions and install it. After you launched it, you'll see Network List. Don't select EFnet from there because many servers from that list are obsolete. Better create another one with these params:
Server name: any name you wish, e.g. EFnet tracklistings
Servers: irc.efnet.org/6667
Favorite channels: #tracklistings (so it will be joining automatically each time you connect)
Character set: UTF-8 (Unicode) - not necessary, you can leave it as it is.
Now you're ready, just connect to this brand new created network! You're ready to chat.

Don't get confused with commands, they are very easy to use & remember! Also such clients as mIRC or XChat are user friendly, so you won't lost.
List of basic commands you can see here

My opinion that IRC is way more comfortable than standard forum chat system, so all the members can chat with ease. You're welcome!
