BBC Radio 1 & 1Xtra Live in Hull


Throughout January we're championing the very best in new music on Radio 1, culminating in a spectacular finale as we take over the city of Hull for a weekend of huge nights!

Thursday 26th January

1900-2200 Zane Lowe + Huw Stephens broadcast live from the legendary Adelphi in Hull with special guests Pulled Apart By Horses and endoflevelbaddie.

2200-0000 Nick Grimshaw live with Lianne la Havas, Youngman and more special guests from the music, cabaret and comedy world!


Friday 27th January

1900-2100 Annie Mac broadcast live from Fruit with a show exclusively for you guys aged 14-17 with guests Redlight, Jack Beats and Joker.

2100-2300 Pete Tong is at Hull City Hall and is joined by Julio Bashmore, Madeon and Groove Armada presents Red Light.

2300-0100 A special extended Essential Mix live from Hull City Hall with some of the biggest names in dance alongside Radio 1's dance family: Chuckie, Fedde Le Grand, Porter Robinson and Judge Jules.


Saturday 28th January

1900-2100 Trevor and DJ Target kick off at 7pm live on Radio 1 and 1Xtra from the Asylum at Hull University alongside Dot Rotten, Josh Kumra and Emeli Sande who will be performing live!

2100-0100 MistaJam takes over the decks from 9pm and delivers you a huge line-up from the bass world including: Sub Focus, Knife Party, DJ Fresh (live) Jakwob and Hudson Mohawke.
