As the year winds down to a close, I'll start the recap rush off by saying that my favourite (other) label of 2012 was Comeme. This set hones in hard on their vibe, showcasing a whole lot of Daniel Maloso, whose album is one of my picks for the year, as well as introducing new ones from DJs Pareja, Philipp Gorbachev, and Pachanga Boys.

It also features a little bit of Turbo by way of Zombie Nation's extremely funky ATTIC SUNDAYS and Tiga's brand-new PLUSH. There are some amazing old disco classics mixed in as well, records very special to me that were shared with me by some great people I want to shout out:

Rebolledo, for introducing me to so much great music and especially blowing my mind with the last epic track when we played together in Mexico.
Spaceman, the elusive Montreal studio impresario, for being one of the only people I trust on ichat to actually send me music I'll like.
Daniel Maloso, my breakfast brother and also my real brother Tiga for, among other things, making such a sick record that I've been lucky enough to be playing out at almost all my sets the past couple of months.
