Green Velvet is one of the most loved and most eccentrically brilliant characters in dance music. A self proclaimed higher being with musical acuteness and an ear for making grooving, jacking house classics either as his original Cajmere character (who remembers Percolator?), or the eccentric and vocal Green Velvet, who recently remixed an entire album with friend and production partner Phil Kieran. When we offered the chance to showcase the legends sound, style and mixing credentials, we jumped at the chance to display this characters charms on the Data Transmission podcast. He’ll be playing for us Brits on the 22th January at The Bugged Out Weekender for an exclusive show alongside many other huge names, new and old.
