Netherlands based DJ, born 25 June 1978, Paramaribo, Surinam. Is known to play a mixture of styles and genres.

Playing all around the world with his own unique style, make's him one of the best and famous Urban DJ of this moment. With almost every club in the Netherlands and a large amount of clubs in countries like Surinam, Germany, Belgium, Swiss, Portugal, Spain, England, Greece, Curacao, Aruba, France, Poland and the US on his list, DJ Chuckie became an established name in the Urban Dance scene. His own sound made him a household name on worlds biggest dance events like Heineken Fast Forward Parade, Ambassador, Luxurush, Dance Valley, Mysteryland and Innercity.

Music has always been the biggest passion of DJ Chuckie's (Clyde Sergio Narain) life. Chuckie (born 25th of June 1978) grew up in this beautiful country Paramaribo (Surinam) which has all types of music and later influenced his style of playing. As a young kid his love for music allowed him to accept all kinds of music from pop to reggae, from Michael Jackson to Bob Marley and so on. But his knowledge of music really grew when he moved to Holland and even heard a bigger variety of music.

At the age of 13 Chuckie experienced with mixing music which he collect from TV and radio. By editing music cassettes with scissors and tape, he made his own mix tapes. When his mom bought him his first mixer Chuckie practiced every day and night, not realizing he was building a solid foundation for his biggest passion.

After one of his best friends started DJing, Chuckie fell in love with this form of art and knew he wanted to be a DJ / Producer. With the little money he could save from barbering and pocket money he started building up his record collection. Sometimes he even spent his monthly bus-money and walked to school.

Chuckie started playing at birthday parties for friends, but he wanted more.

He and his brother started organizing parties and from that moment on other promoters noticed his unique style of DJing and his professional DJ career was a fact.

Everything Chuckie saw, learned and experienced in his life and in the club scene has a great influence in his way of DJing. He mixes all genres like hip-hop, R&B, Latin, dance classics, house, raga, pop, rock, garage, jungle an makes it melt in a superb, energetic mix.

In 2004 Chuckie had a big high light in his career: winning a Mobo Award for Best Urban DJ. Famous artists like Beyonce, Usher, Outkast and Alicia Keys also went home with this highly respected Urban Dance Scene Award.

In 2005 Chuckie won a Dutch DJ Award for the category Best Urban DJ. Knowing that this was the 4th time in his career that he was nominated for an award for Best Urban DJ, again it proves DJ Chuckie is one of the best DJ's of this moment.

Chuckie isn't only a DJ; he's also a well respected producer. The tracks Partycrasher and the Dutch productions "Je Doet" and "Ballen Tot We Vallen" are big hits of this all round DJ / Producer. In the beginning of 2005 Chuckie started his own label 1st Priority Records, where he released his latest hit "En Nu Ga Je Dansen Klootzak"(Translated as: And Now You Dance Asshole). This track became one of the dirtiest tracks in the Dutch history ever and reached every media station because of the daring nasty Dutch lyrics and had a high position in the Dutch Charts.

"En Nu Ga Je Dansen Klootzak" is also the theme song of his latest project, "The Dirty Dutch Tour". This Tour started in December 2004 and became a huge success. Every week it has a new location across Holland. The big final of "The Dirty Dutch Tour" will take place at the Heineken Music Hall on the 22nd of October 2005.
