Turbo proudly presents Terence Fixmer's Epsilon, two no-nonsense techno tracks by a French EBM and electro legend quickly making a name for himself as one of the new mega-producers in the techno arena.
Epsilon comes as a follow-up to Fixmer's fourth studio album Comedy of Menace, released this month on Speedy J's Electric Deluxe. It showcases Fixmer's refined style of big-room, percussion driven techno, while maintaining the hypnotic synthlines and industrial touch familiar to fans of his impressive 15+ year career.
Complimented by two strange and beautiful remixes by Turbo's Glaswegian phenom, Sei A, Epsilon is an EP with which we venture deeper into the groove of PURE TECHNO. Released by: Turbo Recordings Release/catalogue number: Turbo 092 Release date: Oct 19, 2010
VINYL RELEASE: 08.11.2010 DIGITAL RELEASE: NOTT OUT ON 08.11.2010, TROOPER OUT ON 22.11.2010
One year ago Boys Noize released his second album “Power” and here come the last singles: the double A-side “Trooper”/”Nott” plus remixes by Robert Hood, Paul Chambers, Shadow Dancer, Mixhell, Phon.o and Strip Steve.
Listen to “Trooper” and you immediately feel part of a movie – a dark, powerful tech strength, big drum sounds and the scary voice “machine system” is something you haven’t heard before, for sure! Boys Noize had the big honor of getting a remix by Techno-Godfather ROBERT HOOD. The legend from detroit (co-founder of Underground Resistance together with Jeff Mills) takes “Trooper” into a techno-machine, with big dry kickdrums and static percussions that reflect the original idea of “Trooper”. A very special vocalist supported his work, Robert Hood’s daughter sings “left, right, left, right” all the way through this mix which does magic on the dancefloor! Berlin buddy PHON.O turns “Trooper” into an epic Warehouse dub mix – oldschool meets new school. “Nott” is a modern tech-rave track a la Boys Noize with it’s strong robot voice that claims “I am nott techno” and because rave was born in belgium we choose local hero PAUL CHAMBERS to take you on an adventure through bleeps and Acid, a sure shot to turn the club to the next level. UK’s finest SHADOW DANCER reduces the important bits from the original and adds nice percussive rythms so it gets less techno and more house! A great alternative, nott? As a digital Bonus you get MIXHELL (!) and Strip Steve’s take on “Trooper” and Hey Today’s bass mix on Power album track “Nerve”.
Phazing returns with its second release ‘Areena’ and Tort, Gold and Gausa take no prisoners with this hammer of a track intent on destroying dancefloors! Sharp, deadly stabs of melodic synths infuse with the ever-banging bass of the kick drum to create tension that builds until it gives way to high octane drop that leaves only the biological desire to put your hands in the air and dance! Label boss Dirty South is on hand to take this already explosive track that extra mile. Compressing the kick drum right down into a thundering bass beat, he has created a monstrous remix of a true club banger!

Gesaffelstein's tracks have already received support from James Holden, Chloé, Damian Lazarus, and Laurent Garnier, to name a few, and this record is without a doubt his best yet. Every track on 'Variations' is a battle-tested bomb.
His sound is clearly influenced by New Wave and the Gigolo-era electro (2001-2) of fellow Frenchmen The Hacker and David Carretta, but it sounds like a fresh update rather than pastiche, revitalized and refined down to a modern and versatile core. These tracks work in Tiga's festival sets alongside some of the summer's biggest anthems, yet are equally at home in a more underground setting, e.g. Von Party's 5am warm-up before Ivan Smagghe at a London warehouse party.
The title track has the most attitude, establishing a palette of dark staccato basslines, crunching hi-hats, hands-in-the-air cowbells and trippy synth leads. “Selected Faces” and “Atmosphere” are arguably even more straightforward club weapons, their breakdowns creating just enough 'insanity' without getting annoying, their grooves dropping back in with a cool, restrained power that will win over hiss-weary DJs.
With remixes upcoming for Turbo and Institubes, a follow-up EP for Turbo in the works... if you want an idea as to how big Gesaffelstein will get this year, just think of him as 'Brodinkelstein.'
”Two new Zombie Nation killer tracks will be released on November 8 (UKW Records). The release will feature two original tracks “Overshoot” and “Squeek” plus Remixes by DJ Mehdi and Bart B More! /…/”
"Blitz" EP with remixes by Harvard Bass and Villa out November 8th, 2010! Released by: Kitsuné Release/catalogue number: KM122 Release date: Nov 8, 2010
MASSIVE COLLAB! 15 year old producer from Mauritius Nicolas Strands is at it again and has made a banger with Revero on this occasion! Peak-time, full on big room beats with a seriously infectious hook - Another HUGE release on Harkee and future anthem without doubt. Including a great set of remixes - GET ON THIS!
Toolroom Trax fires out an EP of epic proportions from ‘Man of the moment’ Michael Woods. Fresh off the back of an incredible summer that has seen him packing out Toolroom Knights, Wonderland, a residency at Amnesia, Ibiza and churning out anthem after anthem on Mau5trap, Armada and Ministry of Sound, Michael Woods lands his full debut Toolroom release in the form of the ‘Nitro EP’.
Lead track ‘Nitro’ is everything we have come to expect from Michael Woods, with the perfect blend of progressive beats, flickering synths and prowling bass that hurtles towards a deep, thunderous breakdown with an electro synth that will resonate right through your body!
‘Midnight Run’ combines crisp, chugging beats and fizzing hats with spacey FX that builds towards a breakdown awash with superb synth work and a simple hook carrying you towards a monster drop.
This latest offering from Toolroom Trax will be battering dancefloors for some time to come.

Goose are back and better than ever. Words, the first single, is a case in point. Despite having the kind of hook that lodges in your brain after one listen, it also reveals a darker side to the band, one that might come as a surprise to people familiar with the noisy dance-music-with-rock attitude stylings of club smash Bring It On. On this EP, the first single from the album, Words is given the four to the floor remix treatment by Boris Dlugosch and Mickael Karkousses infectious baritone hook can be fully admired on the acapella. On the flip there are fantastic remixes from electro techno duo Joe & Will Ask? and disco kings The Living Islands.
